Romain Laprade – No Water

Romain Laprade's No Water, Seasons Series #5 (Spring) in Libraryman's quarterly Seasons Series, features the French photographer's anonymous desert landscapes.

Seasons Series draws inspiration from Kim Ki-Duk’s seminal film Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring in which different actors play a character abandoned on a lake next to a floating monastery throughout different seasons. The film specifically focuses on the shifting nature of the seasons and its effects on the protagonist’s fosterage. The books in the Seasons Series take their lead from the film and show that ideas, human passions and spirituality can be perceived differently depending on the season. Thanks to Libraryman (Antwerp).

32 pages, 27.5 x 21.5 cm, hardcover, Libraryman (Antwerp).
